If the veteran or qualifying family member is deceased
To pre-arrange services for a living veteran or qualifying family member
If you were to die today, would your family know your final wishes? If you answered “No” you are with the vast majority. In a recent survey, 90% of people surveyed said making their loved ones aware of their funeral or cremation wishes was of great importance but when asked, only 27% had done so. One of the greatest causes of family strife and arguments after a death is family members having different opinions about what the deceased would like.
You can avoid what is sometimes referred to as the FFF (Family Funeral Fight) by simply leaving instructions. We have provided you with an easy to use checklist for your loved ones. This will provide them with the information they would like to have to be sure they are following your wishes. Please take a few minutes now and complete “These are My Final Wishes” and make sure to tell someone you completed it and where it is.
